Here are links to a few friends and collaborators you might enjoy:

Ted Burger, filmmaker, Beijing resident, Zen student, old-time crooner. Ted’s first film, “Amongst White Clouds”, about his Zen master in the mountains of China, has played in film festivals all over the world. His second film, “A Life in Shadows”, about shadow puppet theater in rural China, will be released in 2008. Ezell’s music is used for the soundtrack of “A Life in Shadows”.

Stimulate is a modern dance collective. This group of professional dancers and choreographers has designed a performance for small audiences in private living rooms in order to explore themes and audience-performer relationships beyond traditional theater arrangements. Ezell composes, improvises, and performs music with Stimulate.

The Kyoto Journal, perhaps the best independent/alternative culture journal on Asia.

Little Red Studio, the Seattle theater troupe and performance art venue founded by Ezell’s long-time comrade and friend, painter Jeff Hengst.

CoCA, the Center on Contemporary Art in Seattle, where Ezell has exhibited paintings and performed music.

Brendan Reagan, Seattle poet, transplant from Ohio and Colorockandroll.

Ezell’s myspace page, limping, wounded beast that it is.
