OCEAN HIEROGLYPHICS album info

Ocean Hieroglyphics was written and recorded in a mountain farmhouse on the Pacific coast of Taiwan. My goal with these instrumental compositions was to express the color and texture of the ocean using traditional instruments from a variety of cultures and continents.

OH back cover

OCEAN HIEROGLYPHICS is ambient world-folk music, a collection of instrumental landscapes in blue and gray and green painted with guitars, bamboo flutes, banjo, acoustic bass, harmonicas, jews harp, mbira and percussion.
