SCOTT EZELL is a Pacific Rim poet, musician, and multi-genre artist with 20 years' experience in China and Southeast Asia. His most recent book, A Far Corner (2015), is an account of 3 years he lived and worked with an aboriginal artist community on the Pacific Coast of taiwan. For the past five years his primary work has been a long-term poetry project exploring and documenting marginal border landscapes and communities in China, Burma, Laos, and Vietnam.
In 2016 Scott Ezell's website was hacked and destroyed three days after the publication of a first-person journalism piece on a Myanmar Army offensive against civilian villagers in Shan State, Myanmar. This rebuilt version of the website is growing in content and design, so check back soon to see what's new.
