SCOTT EZELL is a Pacific Rim poet, musician, and multi-genre artist with 20 years' experience in China and Southeast Asia. His most recent book, A Far Corner (2015), is an account of 3 years he lived and worked with an aboriginal artist community on the Pacific Coast of Taiwan. Since 2009 he has worked on a long-term poetry and visual art project exploring the effects of massive, centralized, state development projects on marginal landscapes and indigenous communities in the China-Southeast Asia brder region.
In 2016 Scott Ezell's website was hacked and destroyed three days after the publication of a first-person journalism piece on a Myanmar Army offensive against civilian villagers in Shan State, Myanmar. This rebuilt version of the website is growing in content and design, so check back soon to see what's new.
